These little cuties made for one of the most unique dinner dishes I’ve ever eaten! This was actually one of my fiance’s recipes to cook (as I’m sure you guessed from the use of ramekins). He took a chance and decided to bake these instead of cooking them in a water bath. It was the first time he’s ever gone off-recipe; I’m so proud 😉
I had never thought to use seafood in a breakfast dish before but it pleasantly surprised me! The crab was sweet and light, so it paired perfectly with the saltiness of the prosciutto. The eggs were an ideal canvas for both flavors. Plus the eggs got super fluffy in the oven, so the dish tasted luxurious, like something you’d be served at a fancy breakfast restaurant.
